Description: Thanks for checking out my "how to make smothered cube steak with garlic mashed potatoes" recipe! Ingredients: Minced Garlic 1 Stick of butter Onion Soup Dip Mix Black Pepper Garlic Powder Seasoning Salt Flour Sweet onion Green pepper Cubed Steaks (3 used in this video) Water Potatoes for mashed potatoes Directions: Cook Cube steak on skilled until cooked through leave drippings in skilled and add 1/4 of stick of butter to skillet add one spoon of fresh minced garlic and cook until fragrant add onion soup dip mix add 1/4 of water add one spoon of floor stir on medium heat add chopped onion and green pepper to skillet cook for 1 - 2 minutes add 1/2 cup water and more flour until desired thickness. Cook for 5 - 10 minutes until starts to thicken Add steak and stir Cover for 20-25 minutes simmering on low heat Check for desired taste (add seasoning if bland) Check for desired thickness add more flour if to thin and water if to thick Cook longer of anything was added Once reaches desired thickness remove from stove and serve.
